Graduation Day 2024

The S6 Graduation Ceremony was successfully held on 29 June 2024.  Amidst an atmosphere of affection and unity, we celebrated this once-in-a-lifetime event with profound joy and gratitude alongside our parents and devoted educators who have witnessed our growth over the last six years.

Reflecting on the past six years, I feel truly blessed to have been a student at Holy Family Canossian College. Under the guidance and stewardship of our diligent and dedicated teachers, we students had the privilege of acquiring knowledge in a harmonious learning environment, unleashing our potential through diverse school activities, and blossoming into young ladies with integrity, diligence, and elegance.  Our Principal, Ms Cheng, expounded on how our school has indeed provided us with abundant opportunities to broaden our horizons and support our learning. It was truly commendable to observe my peers and fellow Holy Familians achieve such distinguished results in academics, leadership programs, as well as music and sports competitions.

The day has finally arrived when we, as S6 Graduates, must bid farewell to our cherished educators and part ways with our beloved companions.  Over the past six years, we have studied, laughed, and shed tears together - recollections that will assuredly reside in the depths of our hearts, forever etched in our memories.  As we step out of our comfort zone, we may feel perplexed and disoriented when confronting the unfamiliar future. However, as eloquently presented by our esteemed guest, Dr. Mona Lam, “We all have our dreams and goals, and we need to embrace the changes that lie ahead.” Fortified by God's benevolent care and the encouragement of our teachers, I am confident that our S6 Graduates will carve out a niche beyond this “pink castle” and shine in their respective fields in the years to come.

Having been “United in Love” at Holy Family, we have learned to embrace life with gratitude and surmount obstacles with intrepidity.  Even as we leave our school, we will always carry on the spirit of compassion and humility.  Let us not forget the essence of joy, peace, praise, and harmony, and pray to our dear Lord for granting us the courage and determination to soar towards our aspirations and confront any challenges that may arise. May all the S6 Graduates embark on their new voyages with hope and confidence, and relish every adventure that awaits them.
