When we walk around our campus, we find some enchanting Christmas decorations. These decorations are more than just pretty objects. These remind us to prepare our hearts for Advent. We are called to exercise a more disciplined approach to our spiritual lives during the four weeks of Advent, a period of both prayer and penance, and to pay special attention to words and deeds as we await the arrival of Christ the Lord. We conducted the Advent Liturgy on 11 December 2024; lighting a candle reminds us to serve as a witness to the light of the world, reflecting on the hope, peace, love and joy which bring to people in the world. Let’s remember Advent is a time of hope and light, and recommit ourselves to spiritual renewal.
