With captains, committee members and cheering team leaders of the four Houses marching into Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground, the annual Athletics Meet commenced on 11 February 2026.
Echoing the theme “insects”, the four Houses vividly transformed into caterpillars, butterflies, bees and beetles respectively. The fancy costumes and elegant ornaments were clear evidence of their considerable effort and eagerness for this event. During show time, all members endeavoured to give their best. Eventually, House of Joy was awarded the Cheering Team Champion, while House of Harmony was recognised as the Overall House Champion. Yet, the greatest victory should go to all Holy Familians, who have shown wholehearted support and participation in this annual occasion.
All athletes embraced challenges, showcasing their talents and potential in track and field while demonstrating their passion and exemplary sportsmanship. Their enthusiasm for striving for excellence, together with our schoolmates’ cheering, played a pivotal role in the success of the event. The highlight of the Athletics Meet was undoubtedly the 4×100 m Teacher-Student Relay. Rapturous applause from all teachers and schoolmates brought the day to a climax with a fervent celebration of camaraderie and teamwork.
At the closing ceremony, we were delighted to have Miss Keiko Wong, a Hong Kong Team Racing Driver and our alumna, as our Guest of Honour. Her sharing of her sports journey and encouraging words meant a great deal to us. In her speech, we were encouraged to hold on to our dreams, and stay true to our own pace and values. Being “United in Love”, all Holy Familians have committed to making the Athletics Meet joyful and meaningful. We all look forward to seeing everyone give their best at the Athletics Meet next year!
