Gratitude Day for Teachers 2026

Teachers are the architects of knowledge. They are the gardeners of the future generation and our mentors in life. On 6 February 2026, the Gratitude Day for Teachers took place, providing Holy Familians with the perfect opportunity to express their heartfelt thanks to their beloved teachers.

The Students’ Association programme presented a drama by exco members.  The story followed two students who were getting ready for their friend’s graduation day.  In order to revive the enchanting flowers they prepared, they embarked on an exhilarating adventure to gather “gratitude energy” for their teachers. In their journey, the students were guided by a mysterious fairy and encountered several captivating musical performances.  Through the mesmerising spectacles by our talented schoolmates, gratefulness towards teachers blossomed, and the flowers gradually regained their vibrant colours.  On top of the performances, the SA programme also featured the Monitress Session in which Class Monitresses put their sincere gratitude towards their homeroom teachers into words on stage, the Gift Session, during which students showed their thankfulness in forms of DIY cards and presents, and a Teacher’s Video revealing teachers’ struggles and wishes.  The event was wrapped up with a speech of thanks for not only teachers, but all working staff contributing to our school.  All SA exco members and sub-committee members appreciated the SA programme’s success.  We wholeheartedly hoped that this brightened our Holy Familians’ day and ignited their spirit of gratitude.  We sincerely wish all teaching and non-teaching staff a wonderful day!
