To promote a healthy lifestyle, some senior students participated in the Hunger-free Meal Design Competition organised by Oxfam Hong Kong. Out of over 700 entries, our S5 team entered the Final Competition on 12 April 2025, where they needed to cook lunch on the spot. With their enthusiasm, Elise Phan, Chloe Yu and Cherry Yu of S5B won the Championship in the Competition. The Competition aimed at arousing concerns among low-income families, particularly those living in subdivided flats. Students were required to design quick and convenient meals for the target family, while the meals should be nutritious with a low budget. The Competition educated students to pay heed to the poverty issue in Hong Kong and cherish the resources, especially food, in their daily lives.
