Our school community gathered in the Chinese Language Centre to celebrate the Lunar New Year during a festive lunchtime filled with joy, harmony, and a deep sense of cultural pride. Under God’s abundant blessings and love, the Centre was transformed into a vibrant hub where teachers and students shared in the warmth of the season.
Students delighted in a variety of traditional festive foods, and the atmosphere was filled with laughter as the school family enjoyed this precious time of lunch-hour fellowship. A centrepiece of the event was the students' creative expression through Chinese calligraphy. With focused hearts and steady hands, students used traditional black ink to write heartfelt blessings on New Year couplets (Fai Chun). These couplets served as a powerful expression of unity and artistic talent within our student body.
As we move into this new year, we give thanks for these moments of connection that strengthen our bonds. The gathering was more than just a celebration; it was a testament to our school’s unity and the joy of sharing our cultural roots within our faith-filled community.
