S3 Drama Appreciation Session – “From Page to Stage” Programme

Watching Strategy was truly a delightful experience.  The storyline was captivating, filled with twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat.  The character development was exceptional, making each character relatable and endearing in their own way.  The actors did an outstanding job portraying their roles, bringing authenticity to their characters.

The set design was stunning, creating a visually immersive world that added another layer of depth to the storytelling.  The costumes were also beautifully crafted, enhancing the overall experience.  My favourite scene was the scene ‘Borrowing Arrows’.  I found the arrow-throwing very creative and impressive.

Overall, this play left an awesome impression on me and I will definitely rewatch it if I have the chance.  Through watching this play, I successfully learnt a lot more about the stories of the Three Kingdoms.  It was a mind-blowing experience.  I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-crafted and engaging story that will resonate long after the play ends.

S5 Career Site Visit by the Careers and Life Planning (CLP) Team

Stepping through the wooden doors, I was struck by the harmonious blend of form and function. The firm I visited, Cap Atelier, was a company that specialises in interior design.  The place emits a sense of creativity and innovation, with carefully decorated elements around. Each piece was a memory.

This company professes in hotel design.  You can find their footsteps at Lai Ching Heen Regent Hong Kong, The Peninsula Beijing, and Mott 32 Bangkok.  I couldn’t help but feel inspired by the thoughtful use of colours, texture and lightning. From creating the concept to putting it into action, the designers are dedicated to perfection.  They are willing to spend nights just to find the perfect material for a decoration.  Gradually, I found myself drawn to the attention to detail.

Throughout the visit, I was impressed by their passion and dedication.  If your job lacks something that makes you passionate about it, you will not have the time and patience to cope with your job, and eventually you become miserable. The co-workers inspired me to follow my dreams and choose the correct career. Life-Wide Learning Day indeed gave me the opportunity to explore careers I have never thought of.  I am glad to have participated in it.
