With the blessings of our Father in heaven, the Opening Mass and Installation Ceremony were successfully held on 12 September 2025, gathering all our schoolmates unto Jesus Christ, our Lord. We were honoured to have Father Moses Ngai, who has consistently cared for our schoolmates, preside over the Mass.
In his homily, Father Ngai compared the school campus to a treasure, emphasising the significance of gratitude and appreciation between one another. With reference to the yearly theme of our school, "Cultivating Self-Love Nourishing Wellness", let us bear in mind the teaching of Father Ngai, showing affirmations, being grateful and cherishing our blessings.
2025 is indeed a new chapter for the Catholic Church, as it is also known as the Year of Jubilee. Right after the end of the Opening Mass, eight schoolmates returning from the educational trip to Italy, “Canossian Pilgrims of Hope – Our Root and Our Way”, were invited to share their experiences and reflections. One of their most unforgettable experiences was crossing the Holy Door that only opens once every 25 years. Everyone who crosses this blessed gate will have all their sins forgiven. Our students described this as a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The Installation Ceremony of student leaders was held after the sharing session. All leaders pledged to their honesty and commitment to accomplishing their duties. May our Lord help them to be responsible leaders and make good use of their talents to serve the school.
