Wellness Carnival

Our school theme this year is “Cultivating Self-love  Nourishing Wellness.” A vital aspect of this theme is recognizing the importance of taking time off from our studies to relax.  On September 30 2025, we participated in the Wellness Carnival jointly organized by the Pastoral Care Team, Art Department, PE Department, school social workers and student helpers.  With a variety of tranquillity workshops and activities, our school transformed into a sanctuary, inviting everyone to slow down and unwind.  Let’s take a moment to recall the joy and calmness that filled the day.

At the teahouse booth, students enjoyed soothing cups of tea, finding tranquillity amid academic pressures.  This space fostered a sense of belonging and connection among Holy Familians, who engaged in casual conversations while sharing tea and snacks.  The teahouse booth encouraged students to embrace relaxation and enhance their social lives, reminding them of the importance of taking breaks.

We cannot overlook the excitement of the jumping castles in the hall.  The discovery of these inflatable wonders brought surprise and delight, and many students eagerly took the opportunity to play during recess - a joyful reminder that there are always fun ways to enjoy time with friends.

Another popular attraction was the photo booth in the library, which drew long lines of eager students.  This booth allowed both students and teachers to capture cherished memories and explore their personalities through various props and poses, fostering self-expression and connection.

One of the event highlights was the dog interaction session hosted by the CEO Foundation.  Guided by volunteers, two dogs showed how they could be trained and perform tricks.  This activity aimed to help students who may feel nervous around dogs, and it was a resounding success.  The dogs were both entertaining and endearing, making the experience therapeutic and educational for everyone.

In conclusion, the Wellness Carnival reminded us to prioritize time for ourselves, as well as for our friends and teachers.  May we carry forward the lessons learned from this special day, continuing to spread joy, peace, praise and harmony to those around us.  Wishing you all a wonderful day!
